Forza d’Agrò

Forza d'Agró is placed at the top of a hill at the altitude of 420m above sea level. From it it's possible to admire the coast from Messina to Syracuse, with Taormina and Castelmola, the bay of Giardini Naxos and the magnificent volcano Etna. In 1971, the historic centre of Forza D'Agró was chosen by Francis Ford Coppola for the setting of several scenes in the film of the saga of the Corleone family: "THE GODFATHER".
