Etna

Etna is a destination not to loose! This area offers a great variety of natural landscapes from flora to fauna: starting from crops of vine, olive, pistachio and hazelnut, to lush oak, beech and chestnut woods, till wide black arid stretches of lava provenance

At the top of Mount Etna there is the southernmost glacier in Europe, with the breathtaking "Grotta del Gelo", literally "The ice cave". The volcano Etna, with its 3.350m of height becomes, every year, a skii resort.

Etna is Europe's most active volcano, it has been drawing the attention of scientists and writers for 2700 years because of its amazing eruptions. Spending a day absorbed in its pure nature is an experience to live at least once in life.
